Hearing Tests

Hearing tests are easy and painless, yet are a very important part of keeping track of our hearing health over time. It is recommended to get a hearing test once every decade until age 50, and once every three years after that. Those with special professional risks or other concerns should be tested more frequently. A hearing test is the first step in most of our services at The Hearing Centers of EMG, and includes a consultation about your lifestyle and medical history.

Hearing Aids

Hearing aids allow us to maintain our best overall health and well-being even after we acquire permanent hearing loss. Incredible technological advances in recent years allow hearing aids to integrate easily into a variety of lifestyles and in most cases can restore our hearing ability to near normal. We offer hearing aids for every need. Our hearing aid doctor and staff can help you find your way to the best type for you.

Our Comprehensive Hearing Health Services

Hearing loss tends to occur slowly over time, and is usually measurable long before it is noticeable. For this reason, it is recommended to get a hearing test at least once every decade until age 50, and once every three years after that. Regular hearing tests allow us to catch hearing loss before it becomes problematic, and some small lifestyle changes (such as the use of hearing protection) can help to avoid more profound hearing loss down the road.

Whether you are seeking treatment for hearing loss or tinnitus, wanting to protect your ears with custom hearing protection, or are simply due for a hearing test, call us today to make an appointment! We are committed to ensuring your best ongoing hearing health, and look forward to serving your hearing needs as part of your regular healthcare needs.
